In her career spanning over 14 years, Adwitieyaa has extensively worked in the stressed assets market with all the leading asset reconstruction companies in India. She has assisted and advised in acquisition of stressed assets from various banks and financial institutions and has actively advised and represented clients in different forums for facilitating and optimising resolution for them. She has considerable experience in litigation and dispute resolution with significant exposure in handling insolvency and restructuring transactions under the present insolvency regime and has advised and represented clients in various insolvency and restructuring transactions.
Adwitieyaa started her career working with a start-up law firm, and after considerable experience, co-founded Augustus Law. Having personally worked in start-ups, Adwitieyaa is passionate about the working of upcoming ventures. Presently, she is closely associated with a number of start-ups providing legal, structural and regulatory advice customised to suit their specific needs and requirements.
She works with entrepreneurs advising them on structures, compliances, funding options, employee stock option etc. She has extensively worked with ventures operating in the fields of fintech, technology, gaming, education, design houses amongst others.
Adwitieyaa has an understanding and is sensitive to women-oriented issues and specialises in law against sexual harassment at workplace. She provides assistance on the compliance with POSH Law and conducts seminars in related matters.
